Main Headington crossroads, looking east
The postcard above shows the London Road looking east in about 1910. The garden of the twin-gabled house in the former picture is now a mess, and there is a sign possibly advertising the site for sale.
On the left, the advertisements on the end of Westbourne Terrace suggest that the house on the end may already have been turned into a shop. These houses still have their front gardens, but they were turned into pavement when the London Road was widened.
