G. Cox
G. Cox cannot be positively identified. His first name is unknown.
William Arthur Cox, who is also on the Quarry memorial, had a brother called George Henry Cox. He was born in 1901, which would have made him very young to have served in the war; but it is not impossible.
G. Cox is listed on the stone plaque in the porch of Holy Trinity Church in Headington Quarry. It is likely that he had just this one initial, as this plaque is more accurate with initials than the other two Headington memorials.
