Listed Building History: White Hart outbuilding, The Croft
This is an outbuilding of the White Hart in St Andrew’s Road. It faces on to the Croft, which was originally the back lane for the big houses in St Andrew’s Road. There was stabling for six horses here, and hay was thrown down from the opening upstairs.
