Headington & Marston City Councillors

Listed below are the current councillors for the six city council wards covering Headington and Marston (the former North-East Area Committee).

City Councillors are normally elected for four years, but those elected in 2018 as well as those elected in 2016 were due to stand again in 2020 because of changes to ward boundaries. The 2020 local election was cancelled, however, because of Covid-19 and the current councillors continued in office. Then in May 2021 all city councillors had to be newly elected following boundary changes, and in each ward the one with the higher number of votes was elected for three years to 2024, while the one with the lower number of votes was initially elected for just one year to 2022.

City councillors now stand for four years, but elections are held every two years for one councillor in each ward.

Because of local government reorganization,
the terms of all the councillors below will now cease in May 2028
