Blueberry Pie sculpture outside Maggie's Centre, off Old Road (2016)
This sculpture, entitled “Blueberry Pie à la Mode, Flying, Scale A” was produced in 1996 by the American artist Claes Oldenburg and his wife Coosje van Bruggen. It was donated by the Oldenburgs' friend Morton Sosland in memory of Coosje, who died of breast cancer in 2009.
Laura Lee, chief executive of Maggie's Centres UK, unveiled it on 9 November 2016 at Headington's Maggie's Centre.
