Peace stone at Carfax

The above peace stone is set in the north side of Carfax Tower, formerly part of St Martin's Church. It proclaims the short-lived peace when Napoleon was imprisoned on Elba. It reads:

PEACE
was proclaimed
in the City of
OXFORD
June 27[?] 1814
