Cook’s Building, St John’s College

Cook's Building, St John's

The L-shaped Cook’s Building, dating from soon after 1555, can be glimpsed behind the wall that separates the two main quadrangles of St John’s College. The ornamental gables were added by John Jackson in 1641–2.

The boundary between St Giles parish and St Mary Magdalen parish runs just to the south of this building.
