Listed Buildings
Grade I listed (the top 2% of all listed buildings/structures) are of considered to be of national importance. St Giles has four in this category: the Taylorian, the Martyrs’ Memorial, the west range of St John’s College, and St Giles Church
Grade II* listed (the next 4%). These are also extremely important and are considered to have some national significance. St Giles has three buildings in this category: No. 16 (“The Judge’s Lodging”), No. 41, and part of Regent’s Park College
Grade II listed (the remaining 94%): these are of special interest, warranting effort to preserve them. St Giles has about 37 buildings in this category, as well as a boundary stone and several walls.
