Robert of Watlington
Mayor of Oxford, 1323/4
Robert of Watlington (or de Watlyngton) was elected Senior Bailiff in 1308 and again in 1315. He was elected Mayor for the year 1323/4.
Watlington was the receiver of murage in 1327.
In 1378 another Robert Watlington, possibly a relative, was a butcher in Oxford who leased Binsey’s meadowland.
