Trees due to be felled in Bury Knowle Park

Seventeen trees (all marked with a red cross) are to be felled in Bury Knowle Park following a tree safety inspection by Oxford City Council, and others are to be pruned. The work started on Thursday 24 July 2008.

Senior Parks Manager Stuart Fitzsimmons and tree officer Shaun Gibson came to Bury Knowle on the afternoon of Tuesday 22 July 2008 and explained why it was necessary to fell certain trees. They said that anyone with concerns should email them.

Pictured below are five of the trees which will be felled.
