LCH to become part of CAG network?
It has been suggested that LCH should amalgamate with the Headington Community Action Group (CAG) which holds Swap Shops every third Saturday of the month from11am–1pm at the Community Centre, Gladstone Road. The CAG focus seems to be complementary to ours at LCH. It would mean that each of the groups would continue with their current focus – LCH would work on carbon reduction and the CAG on waste reduction. LCH would become a part of an Oxfordshire-wide network of CAGs and would have access to support and advice from the CAG project manager, as well as a small amount of finance.

The Age of Stupid
This climate change film was premiered at the Phoenix on 15th March, and due to overwhelming demand there will be two further showings, on Wednesday 25th at 4.15pm and on Thursday 26th at 8.45 pm.(Tel 0871 704 2062 to book). The film stars Pete Postlethwaite as an archivist in 2055, living in a world ravaged by the effects of climate change. He watches footage from 2008, wondering “Why didn’t we stop climate change while we had the chance?”
