Low-Carbon Headington is a group of Headington residents committed to raising awareness of climate change locally, reducing Headington’s carbon emissions, and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle. LCH is a member of the Community Action Group network of voluntary groups in Oxfordshire.

LCH comprises a number of active working groups, including:
- Carbon Conversations, a scheme started by Cambridge Carbon Footprint to help participants make a major cut to their carbon emissions.
- Electricity monitor library, loaning out electricity meters that help you to measure your energy use around the home and the carbon your household emits each year.
- Swap shops, which, by providing a channel for exchanging and recycling no-longer-wanted possessions, divert more than 5 tonnes of OX3 waste going to landfill each year.
- Headington Car Club, a not-for-profit car sharing scheme with two cars in Headington, affiliated to Oxcar and Commonwheels.
- Gardening for sustainability, a group of dedicated gardeners
