Listed Buildings of Marston: Headstone in churchyard

Headstone (Grade II listed, ref. 1485/138) about fifteen metres south of the Church of St Nicholas, Old Marston.
This limestone headstone dates from 1663 and reads:

THE BODY OF JOHN
BANNESTER WHO
DIED APRIL …
The parish register of the church states that “John Bannastur” was buried on 25 April 1663.
