Welcome to Friends of Bury Knowle Park

Bury Knowle Park in Headington is owned by the city council and has been open to the public since 1930. Everyone who cares for this park is welcome to become a Friend.

Its postcode is OX3 9HX (directions). It adjoins the London Road and has two main entrances (from London Road just to the east of the shops and from North Place), and two narrower entrances (at the north-east from Chestnut Avenue and the south-east from beside Bury Knowle Health Centre). It is open 24 hours a day.

Bury Knowle Management Plan 2009–2019

Bury Knowle Park was on the agenda of the North East Area Committee meeting on 19 January 2010. The Committee was asked:

To present and seek Committee endorsement for the Bury Knowle Management Plan 2009-2019
To request a contribution towards funding for improvements to Bury Knowle Park to bring it to ‘Green Flag’ standard.
