The Steam Engine rally of c.1990
One of the most exciting events in the park was the steam engine rally organized by Dr Tony Marchington (founder of the Oxford Molecular company).
The three pictures below show how the heavy rain turned the park into a sea of mud, which is probably why the fair was never held again:
